Haiti Disaster Appeal Charity Rock Concert Evening of 28 January 2010 Irish Village Dubai
Years ago local bands staged a charity gig for the Tsunami disaster with quite some sucess. Once again the local talent has come out of the woodwork to stage a one off event at The Irish Village on the 28th January 2010 in aid of the Haiti Disaster Appeal.
This event will be made up of numerous local bands(of varyingages!) and DJ's coming together to give their time for a very worthy cause. It will be a ticketed event with each ticket for entry costing AED 30 that entitles the holder entrance to the event and a free beverage( courtesy of A&E)! Doors open at 6pm. There will also be other ways on the night of adding a little more to the appeal.
Gulf Technical Printing Press are supplying the tickets and an impressive assistance by Earnest Godfrey of Artes the sound and light company who are sponsoring the event by supplying tens of thousands of dirhams of stage, sound and lighting for this event.
Transguard have kindly supplied the security for the evenings on behalf of the Emirates Group.
Dave Cattanch, Food & Beverage Manager of The Aviation Club is coordinating all the logistics for the event on behalf of the people of Haiti. His effort in doing such a mammoth task in such a short span has been nothing short of remarkable.
With so many businesses and individulas giving their time, effort and logistics this event will no doubt be a wonderful night for those attending and for a very important cause.
Please help us to publicized this event to make it a success and a profitable one at that for the people of Haiti.
